At Pacific Rim Christian University, we are concerned about the health and safety of you, our students, as well as our staff and faculty. Because we genuinely care about you, the PacRim community is taking the following steps as we move forward in response to the Covid-19 pandemic.

  1. All classes will be taught online for the rest of the Spring 2020 semester. The university will assist students as needed to gain access to their online classes. Please contact the IT department at (808) 670-3954 for technical assistance.

  2. The university’s facilities at Sunset Towers will be closed until further notice. The university’s office and library at Sand Island plan to remain open on Monday, March 23 from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm to assist in this transition.

  3. Beginning on March 24, the office and library at Sand Island will be closed. Staff will continue answering the main phone line at (808) 518-4791 Monday through Friday from 8 am until 6 pm throughout the semester.

  4. While the university’s facilities will close, the university will not close. PacRim will continue to teach classes, and PacRim faculty and staff members will continue to respond to telephone, email, and text message requests, and will be available for meetings online as necessary.   5. Chapel and chapel team meetings are discontinued for the remainder of the semester. Student Life will continue to build relationships with their students by reaching out regularly by telephone and/or online meetings.

  6. Summer 2020 registration is currently open and the Fall schedule of classes has been released. Please email melodiegarcia@pacrim.edu with any question about your classes.

  7. Lastly, please check your pacrim.edu email account and Populi frequently. PacRim ‘ohana, please be safe and continue to trust our Lord Jesus.
