Chenin Blanc Mun Fuung Iglowitz Scholarship

The Iglowitz Family has established a scholarship for Pacific Rim Christian University students who clearly have a heart and desire to answer the call to Christian ministry in the 21st Century. This scholarship provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their gifts and pursue their God-given dream. It is intended to honor the service of active duty military or veterans, therefore 50% of the scholarships awarded in any year are reserved for students who are active duty military or veterans. The scholarship amount is a maximum of $1,000 for the academic year.  It will be determined by the scholarship award selection committee based upon funds available and number of applicants.  Due by the end of July.


The Charlie Soon Memorial Scholarship

The scholarship is established in memory of Charlie Soon. Charlie was passionate about the university’s mission and its quest to equip students with Christian values and principles that would prepare them for their life’s work in reaching the world for Christ. The applicant may apply for the scholarship as a new student admitted to PacRim, or a current student in good standing. The student must have a need for financial assistance to attend PacRim, and must be enrolled for 12 or more semester hours. Applicants who are currently enrolled must have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher. The scholarship will be applied to the student’s tuition. A total of $3,000.00 may be awarded to students each fiscal year from this fund. There may be a single recipient or multiple recipients during each award cycle as determined by the selection committee. Due by the end of July.


Kellie Ann Andrade Scholarship

 The Kellie Ann Andrade Scholarship Fund was established with the Hawaii Community Foundation in memory of former student, Kellie Ann Andrade. One scholarship is awarded each year. Students interested in this scholarship apply through Pacific Rim Christian University. This scholarship is for a minimum of $500 ($250 per semester).  Due by the end of July.


Chaplaincy Scholarship

An alumni and current vocational chaplain has established a scholarship for Pacific Rim Christian University students who desire to be chaplains. All prospective chaplain fields are considered for this scholarship, but preference will be given to students desiring to be military chaplains. A total of $1,500 may be awarded to students each fiscal year from this fund. There may be a single recipient or multiple recipients during each award cycle.  Due by the end of July. 


The Mike Otake Memorial Scholarship

This scholarship is created for post-traditional students to honor former student Mike Otake's legacy. A post-traditional student himself, Mike leaves a spirit of rejuvenation for students who are coming back to college after hearing God's calling on their lives. A maximum of $2,000 per semester may be allotted to one student or split between multiple undergraduate students who are enrolled in at least six semester credits. The final step of the selection process will include a live interview with the generous donor. Due by the end of July.


Sylvia Waiwaiole Scholarship

Sylvia became a student at Pacific Rim Christian University at sixty-eight years of age, discovered the true riches in knowing Jesus Christ and PacRim played a pivotal role in her spiritual development. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage students to see and achieve their vision for ministry or marketplace leadership. A maximum award of $1000 may be given to one or more candidates yearly. Due by the end of July.
