The Iglowitz Family has established a scholarship for Pacific Rim Christian University students who clearly have a heart and desire to answer the call to Christian ministry in the 21st Century. This scholarship provides an opportunity for students to strengthen their gifts and pursue their God-given dream. It is intended to honor the service of active duty military or veterans, therefore 50% of the scholarships awarded in any year are reserved for students who are active duty military or veterans. The scholarship is available for two students annually for $2000 a year ($1000 per semester). Due by the end of July.
This scholarship will be awarded to an individual who consistently exemplifies the following characteristics in their life: a true love for the Scriptures, a spirit of perseverance through obstacles; strong work ethic; humility and a servant’s heart. The amount of the scholarship will be for $600 for the academic year for the purpose of assisting with the student’s educational expenses. Applicants will be notified by mail or email of the results. Due by the end of July.
This scholarship is for graduate students or international students who are mission minded either for the Pacific Rim area or for home missionaries here in Oahu or the neighbor islands. The scholarship is available for two students annually for $2000 a year ($1000 per semester). One scholarship will go to a graduate student; the second to an international student who meet the application criteria and have the greatest need for financial assistance. Due by the end of July.
This scholarship is created to support international students and honors Dr. Elizabeth Misao Keith, a champion of international education. A student must originally apply for admission to PacRim from a country other than the United States, must not be a U.S. citizen, and must not be eligible for federal financial aid. The applicant may apply for the scholarship as a new student admitted to PacRim or a current student in good standing at PacRim. The student must have a need for financial assistance to attend PacRim and must be enrolled for six or more semester hours. Applicants who are currently enrolled must have a 2.75 cumulative GPA or higher. A total of $2,000 may be awarded to students each fiscal year from this fund. There may be a single recipient or multiple recipients during each award cycle. Due by the end of the Fall Term for the next Spring Semester.
The Kellie Ann Andrade Scholarship Fund was established with the Hawaii Community Foundation in memory of former student, Kellie Ann Andrade. One scholarship is awarded each year. Students interested in this scholarship apply through Pacific Rim Christian University. This scholarship is for a minimum of $500 ($250 per semester). Due by the end of July.
The Ted N. Wakida Foundation has established a scholarship for Pacific Rim Christian University students who demonstrate potential to be a ministry leader in the 21st Century church. It is for students who have a heart and desire to answer the call to ministry as a pastor, missionary, or worship leader. Two Ted N. Wakida Scholarships of $1,000.00 each will be awarded annually to the students who meet the application criteria and have the greatest need for financial assistance to attend PacRim. Due by the end of July.
